Goin' to the Zoo Zoo Zoo

We spent this 20 degree day at the zoo! We invited other friends, but most decided to pass... so did almost everyone else. The zoo was empty today! Our zoo has a really great inside area with an amazing gorilla exhibit. In fact, the gorillas are so great, that I forget how many other amazing things are there too. I didn't take any gorilla pics today, but I did get one of the baby lemur, who was hand raised and loves people:

...and when we left the bird house we found four peacocks waiting there for us. They were amazingly beautiful!

After lunch we went to see if the resident lion had ventured outside. On days this cold he has access to indoor accommodations as well. He has a heated rock outside, and that was where we found him. Here's a video of Kaya and Pal playing in a big box, with a lion at the end.
