Kaya is Famous

We do a lot of signing with Kaya. We'd originally thought that we would stick to the real necessities, (milk, more, all done), but she's responded so well that we have added many more to her signing vocabulary.

We were asked to participate in a baby sign video, and here it is! They took a lot of footage that day and there should be two more videos to come, but here is the first.

Very cool! Kaya is a silent screen movie star, I can't wait to see her in a "talkie". I am still amazed at her ability to communicate by signing, at age 13 Auntie Alice is learning some special signs of her own to communicate with me. =8^)
