A Cakey Day

Kaya had a wonderful birthday yesterday! We didn't do too much to celebrate. Because her birthday is in between the winter holidays, we decided that we will make a big to do for her half birthdays, so look forward to a half birthday party this summer!

Of course, we couldn't let her first birthday go totally unacknowledged!

Number 1 (pan)cake for breakfast.

Yum

(Potato pan)cake for dinner.

(Banana bread cup)cake for dessert!

Yum again!

I think Kaya likes birthdays! ...and really, what's a first birthday without a cake in the face shot? I'm sorry to dissapoint with no chocolate frosting, but really... she's only 1!

Happy BDay to Kaya! LOVE he cupcake video! I like the idea of a half birthday for someone with a birthday close to the holidays - we may do that with Owen!
