It's Okay Mama
Yesterday Kaya brought me some pretend food to eat from her kitchen. As she was handing it to me she said "Wait a second Mama, let me look at it first". She took the pretend food (a cinnamon spice bottle) in her hands and scrunched up her face to read the label. After a moment, she looked at me and said "It's okay Mama, there are no nuts in it.* You can eat it."
Who knew she was listening?
*For anyone reading who doesn't know, Kaya has peanut and tree nut allergies.
