We've gotten a lot of snow in the past three days. Friday night, just after the snow had started (when it was falling at the rate of 1.5"/hour), we went out to play for a few minutes.
Of course, the getting ready took as long as the actual "playing" did, but it was worth the experience.

Monday we all ate at the table together. No trays for these guys, nice place mats and regular plates! Usually Kaya sits at the table (her booster doesn't have a tray) and the boys eat off of their trays, but the table was pulled out and there was plenty of room for everyone.

They were just too cute to not take a picture!
Ages and ages ago Kaya made a best friend... Buddy. We loved having Buddy spend every day with us, and we really miss that he doesn't any more. He has moved, he has a new little brother, and he made way for Pal.
Pal is awesome, and silly, and so much fun! Kaya and he have all sorts of games that they play together where they are the only ones that know the rules. They have silly songs that they sing when they have finished their lunches. They have dances to go along with those songs. They are super duper friends!
Kaya always has room for more friends though, and a few months ago "Friend" started spending two days a week with us. Last Thursday both Friend and Kaya had holiday parties to go to in the evening, so dressed up in their party gear they said cheese for the camera!

CHEESE!

Hi There.

HUGS!!!
At this point I should just skip the Thanksgiving update, but Kaya was so cute with her cousins that I have to post these pictures!
All of the kids sat at the "Kids' Table" together! Kaya was the second youngest.

We forgot her booster seat, but she didn't seem to mind!

...and cousin Sammy was there to keep an eye on her and help her reach the food she couldn't!

We had a great time, and it was great to see all of the cousins playing together. Yeah for family!
Kaya was ready for sleep by the time we got into the car. Bundled up with Bunny and Blanket... what a perfect way to end the day!
