It was 9 degrees out when we got up this morning. That's beyond cold! Kaya heard the weather report yesterday, but insisted on wearing her resort clothing.
I overheard her on the phone to her grandmother later in the afternoon saying "Meme, send me a ticket to Florida! It's cold here!"
I don't think that she's quite old enough to fly on her own yet, but I'm keeping an eye on her today anyways!
Can you believe that we've been doing this whole mom/dad thing for a month already? Hard to believe, but true. We took her and Naomi up to the Arnold Arboretum this morning for a little photo shoot.
Unfortunately it was too cold and windy for a lengthy one, so the close-ups will have to wait for now!
Happy One Month Birthday Kaya! Now lets go eat cake! (We do get cake every month for the next twelve at least, right?)
We didn't have a New Year's baby here, she was solidly in 2006...
...but that does mean that we get a 2006 tax deduction!
