Busy Around Here

We've been busy around here lately. Two weekends ago, my most wonderful best friend Miranda, and I painted Tadpole's room!

Miranda painted up high. Gotta keep the pregnant woman off of the ladders!

My belly and I stayed down low painting the edges and the walls.

The room started off a perfectly nice, but kind of drab color, and ended up a great purple!

Hey, the room actually looks like it's ready for a baby now!

Just in case this baby hasn't had a purple and green overdose, check out how her mommy-to-be was dressed today. You guessed it, purple and green!

Officially 3rd trimester here. I'm still feeling great, I certainly haven't slowed down, and we are really starting to anticipate having this little tadpole around! From what I can gather from other women's stories, I've really gotten the wonderful end of this pregnancy thing. Let's hope we can keep it up for another twelve weeks or so, because this is pretty fabulous.

Bring On The Cake

Checking in at 26.5 weeks here! Three months to go till this active little girl becomes active in the real world. Sometimes I feel like it's crazy it's gone so fast and we are so close to the end, and sometimes I feel like my ribs just can't fathom another three months of abuse!

Our monthly checkups have been going well, and just this week I was cleared from any worries of gestational diabeties, so bring on the cake (and cookies, and brownies, and pie, and chocolate chips, you get the picture).

We are starting to get Tadpole's room all set up too, so look forward to some pictures in the next month or so... and I've got to get knitting. Wool soakers should be top of the list... seeing as how they are a necessity with cloth diapers, but those little sweaters and socks are just so much more fun!

Speaking of, there've been no knitting shots around here at all, so here are some of the things you can expect to see on this little one's feet come the new year.
