Belly Shots : Almost 24 weeks

So, this belly shot is long overdue. We are nearing 24 weeks pregnant here! It's crazy how fast this is going, and how much longer we have to go. Four more months? You've got to be kidding me!

Some days I feel huge, some days I think people don't even notice. There's no debating it though, the belly is here to stay.

...and some measurements:

• Weight = My scale is broken! Can you believe it? ...a few weeks ago at the doctor I was up 10 lbs, so we can figure 11-12 by now.
• Waist = 35"! I started at 29". Pregnancy is so awesome (in the awe inspiring way, not the I love looking fat way!)

Off to spend one last weekend at the beach. Probably no bathing suit photos though because it will be too cold. Here comes fall!

Nesting is Good For All

Now that we are fully settled into our new home we are just itching to get Tadpole's room all up to baby standards! Of course, it's really to early to be doing most of that, and we are getting our crib from a friend, and her child is still sleeping in it, so obviously we'll have to wait a bit on that one.

That didn't stop us, however, from shopping for gliders this past week. We figured with MA tax free weekend coming up tomorrow and Sunday, now was a good time to look. We found out very quickly that gliders are very expensive!

We ended up lucking out really quickly though, and finding one in a classified add from a couple that was giving theirs up. Enter one new wonderfully comfortable glider into our home.

Our first born is enjoying it already! Nesting is good for all!

We Are Naming the Baby Brandi

This little girl was all about kicking me last night. Definitely a soccer player in the making! No more discussion of names, we will be naming her Brandi Chastain Parker! Just kidding of course, don't go getting anything personalized just yet! Any real name anouncements won't come until after she is born.

Back to the real point though, she was very active last night and it was really very cool. Lots of little kicks and punches and then a big one every once in a while that would almost startle me! Mike could feel it too and we are convinced that we have the coolest baby ever!
